Core Beliefs

We come from several branches of the Christian family tree but we are aligned around the centrality of Christ, the unity of His church, and the flourishing of Nashville. We accept and affirm the Nicene Creed as a consensus statement of the Christian faith.

A City Leaders Collective survey of our peer city network organizations across the US and Canada found their networks have been able to gather representatives from a broad range of theological traditions, and we endeavor to do the same.

The Centrality of Christ

A radical and unwavering commitment to Jesus, in whom we have been united to God, and who is at the center of our identity and mission.

The Unity of His Church

A commitment to the reality that the Church is already one in Christ, and that when lived out is the most powerful expression of Jesus' gospel to the world.

The Flourishing of Cities

A commitment to seeking the shalom of cities, which are the epicenters of both culture and Christ's mission in the world.
